Marble Mountain Textiles was born in Orleans,California in June 2005. Relocated to Etna in the summer of 2010, we are happy to offer the highest quality fabrics and handcrafted gift items to the Scott Valley community.

The studio currently contains about 300 bolts of fabric, with new selections arriving almost weekly. We carry a variety of batiks, prints, juvenile and novelty fabrics, and a nice selection of flannels. There are also the versatile “precuts” -- fat quarter packs and jelly rolls -- and a special bin for remnant rolls and scraps-by-the pound.

Other products for the sewing enthusiast or crafter include basic notions such as thread, sewing machine needles, marking tools, Steam-a-Seam 2, fusible interfacing, and cotton batting.

Our handcrafted gift items have been sold at various craft fairs for several years and continue to be popular when a gift is needed for the holidays, birthdays, or to welcome a new baby. These products include: aprons for the entire family, tote bags, swaddling blanket and bib sets, baby blankets and quilts, duvet covers and pillowcases, luggage tags, credit card wallets, textile art postcards, and more. These gifts are available at Shoppe Serendipity in Yreka, as well as at our studio.

We maintain an “open studio” and invite you to come by for a browse, to select your fabrics for a custom ordered item, or to purchase fabric for your own inspired projects. We welcome your suggestions and will strive to meet your artistic requirements!
